Work felt mad busy again, I was just glad to get a break to play board games. I did ask others if they'd done anything interesting at the weekend that they enjoyed, but it seems that most people were just resting.

Work have the Young Employees' network's winter party today, and then I'm off to a quiz with the Stags.

I hope to have chances for good conversation, listening to others, and putting away my phone for a while, not being tempted to keep checking it.

I've been trying things I don't think I've tried before, just for the sake of getting something new, though not necessarily being out of my comfort zone. This morning, I bought a chai latte from the coffee shop at work, and I had a Marks & Spencer "gut ball" as my snack for the train later. That's not as gross as it sounds, as its a vegan product. Work's Christmas party is tonight, and I'm hoping it goes well. I'm sure I'll take the chance to smile at as many other people as I can.

Christmas festivities at work are getting more interesting and fun in recent years, and I just hope this one can match last year.
